So, here we have: E’s wonderful challah; a fresh fruit salad consisting of local cantaloupe, peaches, mulberries and peppermint from our yard (the birds ate all the black raspberries); local zucchini roasted Italian-style; mesquite BBQ chicken; and a physically challenged but I can only assume yummy homemade-by-YT cherry pie. 😉

Happy First of July Erev
To be quite truthful, waiting rooms (in this case our tiny apartment) can be, er, a bit challenging at times, but we keep our eye on the prize of getting the hell out of Ohio! Meanwhile, here is a first of July erev snapshot. Lots and lots of garden flowers, and a human one, weathering storms and still standing. Memo to future us: we made it and lived to tell our story.
