It was mowing day on the prairie, so that means…snakes!  This cute little snake was draped over a maple tree, sunbathing.  It just stuck out its tongue at me and went on basking as I snapped pictures.

There were tomatoes and peppers starting to form on the volunteer plants, and apples on the old tree.  I cut lots of greens.

And of course, flowers were blooming…
