Upbuilding

Today was day #3, the grand finale of re-shingling the shed.  I helpfully stood around, occasionally handing things up.  It was a hard job (for E, not me!) but now the roof is finished and professional-looking.  One more daunting project ticked off the list.

Misu prowled and stalked, pausing frequently to collapse or visit the watering hole.  Her job is comic relief.

Flower Show

We’ve all been hard at work, including Misu, who keeps wildlife populations under control.  She’s a real climber and stalker.  She’s been popping chipmunks and baby birds like crazy.  The parents are not amused, but it’s nature, what can you do?  Here she is, being queen of the world.

Meanwhile, E has been slaving up on the shed roof, re-shingling.  Yesterday I even helped a little.  It’s hard work.

As for me, I’ve been planting trees, crops, flowers, and herbs, and germinating more.  Lugging the push mower around is always a strenuous cardio exercise.  Somehow I’m still alive and kicking.

As are the flowers.  It’s like a flower show here.  All my veggies are coming up.  I must be doing something right.
