Last night’s spectacular thunderstorm was a welcome relief to this parched landscape.  I drank this bourbon manhattan to it (ahead of time)!

This morning it’s more of a sauna than ever, but I don’t mind.  The garden definitely approves.  Some new mushrooms came up, which is a good sign for soil health.
